But the Iberian teams shouldn’t be overconfident with IR Iran, the 3rd team to qualify for the final stage boasting an unbeaten run in the tournament so far. Throw in Morocco, who topped the African qualifications, and this group is far from a done deal!

Of course, if Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo lives up to his reputation as the best football player in the world, there’ll be little that any opposing team can do. Their status as reigning European Champions will also give Portugal an edge.

Could we be in for a tournament upset with outsiders IR Iran and Morocco pulling a surprise win over two of the favourite teams? Only time will tell...
